Bulkhead - In the center of Red Storm Rising's hull we inserted a single bulkhead. We made this first because it had to be inside the mold while we placed the rest of the canoe. |

Placing the Concrete - After the bulkhead was put into the mold and the mesh was properly set over the rest of the mold, we placed our concrete mixture. |

Curing - Red Storm Rising quietly taking twenty-eight days off just to cure as we nervously watched it, praying that it wouldn't crumble in our hands. |

Out of mold - After Red Storm was fully cured it could be pulled out of the mold. |

Foaming - We inserted foam blocks at the bow and stern of Red Storm Rising to ensure that it would float and to increase it's strength. |
